The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
